Attention: Group Organizer

Over the years many groups just like yours have financially benefited from our Fundraising Program. The most successful groups have been the ones that not only have gathered the most members but ensured that their members were fully informed of what they had to do.  

In order to be a successful fundraising group simply follow these steps:

  1. CONFIRM REGISTRATION – Fully review your enclosed registration form, and if anything is incorrect or needs to be changed at any time please contact us. Note your “Group Account Number” This number must appear on all submitted documentation.

  1. DISTRIBUTE FLYERS – Distribute your enclosed flyers to your group member’s and your family and friends. The flyers have our warehouse information such as our days, hours, location and a list of some of our specials.

  1. Along with the flyers it is crucial that everyone who is fundraising with you MUST know the following before visiting the store:

a) Scheduled shopping dates - All members must know what their registered shopping dates are. 

NOTE: Your members can shop at Samko as many times as they like during the season but can only have their receipt stamped for your fundraising group during your registered week.

b) Fundraising Name - All members must know your registered fundraising name (this is the group name that appears on your registration form).

c) Sales receipt stamped – When at the cash your group members must tell the cashier your registered fundraising name. The cashier will check the list (only groups that have registered for that week will be on the list) the cashier will then stamp their receipt with “Samko Sales Fundraising” If the Receipt is not stamped it will not be accepted.

d) Collect your group receipts – All members must know that they need to give you their original stamped receipt as soon as possible as all of your receipts must be submitted to us no later than two weeks after your registered dates.

NOTE: Make a photocopy of all the receipts for your records.

5. SUBMIT YOUR RECEIPTS TO SAMKO – Fully complete the Remittance form and send it with the original receipts and Registration form to us via Registered mail. NOTE: A minimum of 20 receipts is required to process your submission. (Photocopies not accepted)

6. CASH YOUR CHEQUE! – After completing and submitting all that is required you will receive a cheque for 10% of your total sales (before taxes)
